Job summary

Davis Machine, a precision aerospace manufacturer in Euless, Texas, seeks a Machining Supervisor for the 2nd shift (5pm-5am) to lead daily operations and ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery. The role combines hands-on leadership with coordination across Engineering, Operations, and Quality to meet production commitments.

Candidates should have 5+ years machining experience (aerospace preferred), 2+ years CNC programming, and 3+ years of direct supervisory experience in a high-regulation

Qualifications

• 5+ years of machining experience, preferably in aerospace/precision manufacturing.
• 2+ years of CNC programming experience.
• 3+ years of direct supervisory experience in an aerospace environment.
• 5+ years’ experience with complex CNC multi-axis machining.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings, GD&T and customer specifications.
• Knowledge of machining castings, billet materials and aerospace components.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily 2nd shift machining operations with clear priorities.
• Ensure production schedules and customer delivery requirements are understood and met.
• Monitor workflow and address bottlenecks, downtime, and staffing issues.
• Maintain hands-on leadership on the shop floor and support machinists.
• Monitor performance, attendance, quality, and adherence to policies.
• Coach and develop employees and enforce accountability and consistency.
