Job summary

Technology Service Corporation (TSC) seeks an Aerospace Engineer to support Naval Research Laboratory programs in high‑priority Navy missions. You will perform advanced CFD analyses, develop trajectory models, and apply 6‑DOF integrations using Star‑CCM, CBAero, Cart3D, TAOS, NX Design, and SolidWorks.

Candidate should have 2+ years in aerospace engineering, strong CAD skills, and MATLAB data analysis expertise, with a U.S. citizenship and active Secret clearance preferred.

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in aerospace engineering, with emphasis on aerodynamic or aerothermal analysis.
  • Proficiency in CFD tools such as Star-CCM, CBAero, Cart3D, and TAOS.
  • Experience developing trajectory modeling tools and integrating aerodynamic predictions into 6‑DOF models.
  • Strong CAD skills with Siemens NX Design or SolidWorks.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools, including MATLAB.

Overview

Technology Service Corporation (TSC) is seeking an Aerospace Engineer to support work at the Naval Research Laboratory. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact high-priority Navy missions.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct advanced fluid dynamics simulations to characterize aerodynamic loads and aerothermal environments across a wide range of flight regimes.

Salary & Benefits

Salary range: $100,000 – $133,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
