Job Overview

Technology Service Corporation (TSC) is seeking a Senior Aerospace Test Engineer to support work at the Naval Research Laboratory. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact high-priority Navy missions. The Senior Aerospace Test Engineer will lead advanced aerospace experimentation efforts, responsible for the definition and oversight of ground and flight aerodynamics experimentation, including subscale wind tunnel testing, high-enthalpy tunnel testing, full-scale vehicle wind tunnel testing, and captive-carry sounding rocket experimentation. The engineer will also aid in defining objectives, mission requirements, vehicle configurations, instrumentation, and data acquisition requirements for ground, flight testing, and full-scale flight demonstrations.

  • Lead advanced aerospace experimentation efforts.
  • Define and oversee ground and flight aerodynamics experimentation, including subscale wind tunnel testing, high-enthalpy tunnel testing, full-scale vehicle wind tunnel testing, and captive-carry sounding rocket experimentation.
  • Aid in defining objectives, mission requirements, vehicle configurations, instrumentation, and data acquisition requirements for ground, flight testing, and full-scale flight demonstrations.
Qualifications

Salary and Benefits

In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is $153,000 – $218,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus and may include equity or incentive compensation as part of the total rewards package.
