Job summary

Technology Service Corporation seeks an Aerospace Engineer to support Naval Research Laboratory missions, focusing on aerodynamic and aerothermal analysis.

You will perform advanced CFD simulations, develop trajectory modeling tools, and integrate predictions into 6DOF models using CAD software (Siemens NX or SolidWorks) and MATLAB. A security clearance is required, with potential for an annual bonus and competitive rewards.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship and an active Secret clearance (TS/SCI preferred).
• Preferred 2 years of experience in aerospace engineering with aerodynamic or aerothermal analysis.
• Working knowledge of CFD tools such as StarCCM, CBAero, Cart3D and TAOS.
• Experience developing trajectory modeling tools and integrating aerodynamic predictions into 6DOF models.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as Siemens NX Design or SolidWorks.
• Strong proficiency with data analysis tools such as MATLAB.
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct advanced fluid dynamics simulations to characterize aerodynamic loads and aerothermal environments across flight regimes.
• Support high-priority Navy missions at the Naval Research Laboratory.
• Develop and apply trajectory modeling tools and integrate predictions into 6DOF models.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate results clearly.
