Job summary

TPD is seeking an Aerospace Software Quality Engineer to join a fast-moving EVTOL organization focused on safety-critical software for battery management, autopilot platforms, and avionics.

You will generate lifecycle data, decompose requirements with systems engineers, and help shape system architecture while collaborating with suppliers. Strong embedded firmware experience and DO-178/254 knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience designing software from ground up in safety-critical context.
• Experience with embedded firmware for aerospace platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop safety-critical software components for aerospace platforms.
• Create lifecycle artifacts and decompose requirements with system engineers.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on architecture and interfaces.
• Configure and integrate firmware for aircraft communication protocols.
• Perform requirements-based testing and traceability across artifacts.
• Develop test infrastructure for platform software.
