Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks an Advanced Software Engineer-EGPWS/Embedded C/C++ to design, develop, and deploy software for aerospace systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements, support embedded C/C++ development, and ensure DO-178 compliant processes across projects.

This hybrid role is based in Phoenix with initial on-site expectations. Candidates should have 4+ years in aerospace software, strong C/C++ expertise, and familiarity with DO-178 B/C, DO-160, and

Qualifications

4+ years of software engineering experience in aerospace or avionics environments.
Expertise in C/C++ embedded software design and development.
Experience supporting DO-178 B/C and aviation standards.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate complex concepts.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain software for aerospace systems.
Define software requirements and specifications with cross-functional teams.
Support embedded software development using C++ and manage lifecycle per DO-178.
Perform software testing and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
