Qualifications

• 5+ years of embedded software experience for defense or aerospace systems.
• Strong proficiency in Embedded C on bare-metal and RTOS platforms.
• Experience in C++ with Python scripting or development.
• Hands-on with microcontroller-based embedded systems and low-level software.
• Familiarity with aerospace/defense standards (AS9115, DO-178C) and MIL-STD-882.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide other embedded software engineers while delivering hands-on development.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to architect and implement embedded solutions for aerospace programs.
• Design, develop and maintain embedded software in C, with C++ and Python as needed.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with systems engineering and hardware teams for seamless integration.
