Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an embedded controls co-op student in Rockford, IL. You will work onsite in the Electric Power Embedded Controls department, collaborating with cross-functional engineers on hardware lifecycle tasks from requirements to deployment.

You will gain hands-on experience in hardware requirements, test procedures, and qualification activities while supporting project administration and technical analysis under guidance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM.
• Experience with electronics and electrical components.
• Experience with a lab and electronic test equipment.
• Proficient in Excel and circuit simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Apply fundamental embedded controls knowledge to tasks identified by a hardware lead engineer.
• Engage in controls engineering practices across hardware lifecycle: requirements, design, testing, deployment.
