Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced assembler to join our onsite production team. You will assemble electronic units, identify components, solder and operate assembly equipment, and follow detailed engineering documentation.

The role requires 2nd shift hours (Mon–Fri, 2:30–10:30 pm) and a HS diploma or GED with relevant experience. Training on safety and IPC standards is provided.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED with 2 years relevant experience; or 4 years in absence of HS Diploma/GED.
• Ability to work 2nd shift hours.
• Read and interpret technical data such as manuals and prints.

Responsibilities

• Assemble a variety of electronic units using prescribed techniques.
• Identify correct parts, wires, and materials.
• Solder electronic components and use hand tools.
• Operate assembly machines.
• Measure and apply chemicals/adhesives as required.
• Read and interpret manuals, assembly instructions and prints.
• Communicate work status to team and support staff.
