Job summary

PacSci EMC, a Ralliant Corporation, seeks an Electronic Assembler in Solon, OH. The role involves complex assembly of electronic components for aerospace and defense, with strict IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards and microscope-based soldering inspections.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, U.S. citizenship, and 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience. Training and certification maintenance support are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• US citizenship required due to national security contracts.
• 3–5 years of J-STD soldering experience preferred.
• Certification to IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610 standards (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read component values.
• Knowledge of ESD prevention and safe handling.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex assembly on electronic components and subassemblies for aerospace/defense systems.
• Interpret visual aids, drawings, and instructions to assemble or modify units.
• Hand-load and solder PCB assemblies, including fine-pitch components, per IPC-J-STD and IPC-D-610.
• Identify and repair soldering anomalies under a microscope, lead and lead-free solder.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in offsite training to maintain industry certifications.
