Job summary

CPI Electron Device Business, a global leader in design, development and manufacturing of electronic components, is seeking an Electronic Assembly Technician specialized in soldering. You will build and inspect complex assemblies from technical docs, using SMT and through-hole techniques under a microscope.

The role requires IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certifications and familiarity with rework. US persons only for export controls.

Qualifications

• IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 certification required.
• Familiarity with IPC-A-620 preferred.
• Familiarity with rework and temporary engineering fixes.

Responsibilities

• Soldering and building assemblies.
• Read and interpret production drawings, schematics, BOMs and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area in 5S/ESD standards.
