Job summary

PacSci EMC is seeking an Electronic Assembler for a weekend shift in Hollister, CA. The role focuses on assembling components and subassemblies, reading schematics, and maintaining IPC-J-STD certifications.

You will solder with both leaded and lead-free materials, inspect solder joints under a microscope, and follow exact engineering callouts. On-the-job training is provided; ESD control and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; on-the-job training provided.
• Working knowledge of ESD prevention and product handling.
• Highly flexible with good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter, able to plan, execute, and complete tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
• Use visual aids, drawings, and instructions to assemble, modify, re-work or re-assemble units.
• Read/interpret customer, engineer drawings or visual aids and incorporate call outs onto assembly.
• Solder various electronic component sizes following IPC standards, including fine pitch components.
• Solder under a microscope and identify soldering anomalies.
• Attend offsite training to maintain certification (e.g. JSTD).
