Job summary

Chromalloy seeks an experienced Electronic Technician IV to troubleshoot, repair, calibrate, and maintain sophisticated electronic, electrical, control, and automated equipment in an aerospace manufacturing environment.

You will diagnose complex failures, implement corrective actions, and help improve safety, reliability, and performance of critical systems. Shift: Fri-Sun, 7:00am–7:00pm, 36 hours paid as 40.

Qualifications

• Technical degree, certificate, or formal training in electronics, electrical technology, industrial controls, automation, or related field.
• 7+ years of industrial electronic/electrical maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Advanced troubleshooting experience with industrial manufacturing equipment.
• Strong understanding of AC/DC electrical systems and industrial electronics.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-controlled equipment.
• Experience with VFDs, servo drives, motors, sensors, relays, and industrial control systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot integrated electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electronic, electrical, and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose issues involving PLCs, CNC machines, robotics, drives, motors, sensors, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify root causes and resolve equipment failures.
• Support preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Restore equipment to safe operating condition while minimizing downtime.
• Troubleshoot integrated electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, controls modifications, and automation projects.
• Perform calibration and maintenance of industrial instrumentation and control devices.
• Document maintenance activities and equipment history within the CMMS.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide technical guidance and support to fellow maintenance team members.
• Follow all safety, Lockout/Tagout, and aerospace quality requirements.
