Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service and repair production equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation. The role spans mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems to improve reliability while minimizing downtime.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, read schematics, and coordinate with engineering and production teams. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Industrial maintenance experience or training through technical/ vocational education or apprenticeship.
• Experience with CNC machines, manual tools, or similar production equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and manuals.
• Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
• Experience using diagnostic and precision-measurement tools (multimeters, vibration equipment).
• Safety-focused with Lockout/Tagout and machine guarding knowledge.
• Clear communication with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machining centers, lathes, grinders, and other production equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical issues and implement fixes.
• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, drawings, wiring diagrams, and OEM manuals.
• Identify root causes of failures and implement improvements.
• Support equipment installations, relocations, and maintenance projects.
• Maintain maintenance records and ensure tools and parts are ready.
• Follow safety and electrical standards including Lockout/Tagout.
