Job summary

Parker Hannifin is seeking a Project Engineer with a strong background in gear design and manufacturing. The role involves leading complex engineering projects, planning and coordinating design activities, and interfacing with customers and vendors to ensure successful execution.

The candidate will apply advanced engineering principles, develop detailed drawings, and mentor junior engineers, while ensuring compliance with Parker policies and industry regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (BS) in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related technical discipline required.
• Ten or more years of related experience preferred.
• Extensive experience in Gear design and Manufacturing is required.
• Working knowledge of solid model CAD, FEA, and simulation software is preferred; knowledge of DFM/DFA principles is expected.

Responsibilities

• Develops project goals and objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; ensures schedules, cost targets, and technical expectations are met through strong project leadership.
• May interface with customers to present project status and gain support for programs.
• Determines project specifications by studying product design and customer requirements, preparing cost estimates, and assigning staffing and resources.
• Prepares and maintains project schedules, coordinates activities, and resolves problems to meet milestones.
