Job summary

Icon-Aerospace in Indian Trail, NC is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support repair of electrical and electronic aircraft components. The role focuses on interpreting OEM CMM-guided processes to evaluate, repair, and test assemblies per procedures.

You will disassemble parts for repair, create repair instructions, and perform tests to verify conformance. Strong communication, teamwork, and MS Office skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years hands-on experience in a repair environment.
  • Experience repairing or manufacturing electrical/electronic parts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Eligibility to work in the United States with a valid driver's license.
  • Familiarity with aerospace manuals such as CMMs, AMMs, etc.
  • Punctual, reliable, and a team player.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate assemblies to determine repair feasibility per CMM.
  • Disassemble parts to enable repairs.
  • Use manuals and industry practices to meet test requirements.
  • Create repair instructions and perform tests to verify per CMM.
  • Identify efficiency improvements in evaluation and repair processes.
  • Lead setup of new repair capabilities for FAA 145 Repair Station.
