Job summary

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures in Florida seeks an Engineer to join our team to evaluate, design, and approve repairs for aircraft components such as nacelles, thrust reversers, flight control surfaces, and radomes.

You will generate data, perform analyses, and collaborate with other engineers, the Quality Control department, and production teams to ensure compliance and airworthiness, including FAA-approved 8110 repairs.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate damaged aircraft components and determine repair feasibility
  • Develop repair solutions, including drawings, instructions, and reports
  • Perform analysis to substantiate repairs
  • Generate data and perform analysis to support FAA approvals and interpretation of OEM manuals, drawings, and certification requirements
  • Lead root cause analyses and failure investigations
  • Ensure repairs comply with company procedures and FAA regulations
  • Support improvements and development of new repair procedures

Job description

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures, a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of aircraft structural components, is currently looking for an Engineer to join our team.

The Engineer is responsible for the evaluation, design, and approval of repairs for aircraft components, including nacelles, thrust reversers, flight control surfaces, and radomes. This position plays a key role in developing FAA-approved 8110 repairs. The Engineer will generate data and perform analysis, collaborating with other engineers, the Quality Control department, and production teams to ensure compliance and airworthiness.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Evaluate damaged aircraft components and determine repair feasibility
