Job summary

Fleet Readiness Center East in Cherry Point, NC, is seeking an engineering professional to troubleshoot test equipment, aircraft electrical/power systems, and related subsystems. You will analyze fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics to support military weapon systems and interface with Mechanical, Avionics, and Structural Engineers.

You will design or modify aircraft systems, develop drawings and specifications, and work with AutoCAD or similar CAD software to document changes.

Qualifications

• Requires a 4 year degree in engineering or related field.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• FT Exempt employee status.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to troubleshoot test equipment and aircraft electrical/power systems.
• Design or modify aircraft systems and develop engineering drawings and specifications.
• Interface with Mechanical, Avionics and Structural Engineers and read technical documents.
