Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Test Solutions Engineering team. You will design and integrate state-of-the-art test systems supporting product lifecycle, labs, and field operations.

Role involves hands-on development, collaboration, and ensuring systems meet performance goals; security clearance is required for consideration, with relocation eligibility and competitive salary range.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in STEM by start date.
• Knowledge of electrical components including resistors, capacitors, and transistors.
• Experience with test and measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and spectrum analyzers.
• Experience in circuit design and analysis for analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuits.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB for simulation and automation.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate test products for complex systems within a multidisciplinary team.
• Create test interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and detailed circuit designs.
• Develop engineering and production test systems that align with cost and schedule goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during the development and implementation phases.
• Utilize modern equipment including oscilloscopes, network analyzers, and power meters for validation.
• Collaborate independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve test product challenges.
