Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks an Electrical Engineer II to design, develop, and integrate test products within the Test Equipment Directorate. The role involves creating engineering and production test systems, including interface adapters, cabling, and circuit design, while managing technical and schedule aspects.

The candidate will contribute across all stages, applying troubleshooting and analytical skills to complex test environments and maintaining sensitivity to cost and program deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 2+ years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree.
• Active U.S. government-issued security clearance (Secret) required prior to start; U.S. citizenship.
• Experience in electrical engineering, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Proficiency with electrical design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, and Creo Schematic.
• Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
• Ability to use schematic capture tools and interpret schematics.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate test products within the Test Equipment Directorate.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, including interface adapters, cabling, schematics, and circuit design.
• Contribute to all stages of test product development, managing technical, cost, and schedule aspects.
• Identify and resolve issues related to development and implementation of test products.
