Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL is seeking an early career Electrical Design Engineer to advance CNS aviation hardware for legacy and next-gen products. You will influence architecture, performance, and reliability while coordinating with internal teams and suppliers.

The role requires a STEM degree and familiarity with LT Spice/HyperLynx. Onsite work in Melbourne, Florida is expected and collaboration across disciplines is essential.

Qualifications

• Requires STEM degree; less than 2 years of related experience.
• Must be a U.S. Person per military contract.
• Experience with LT Spice, HyperLynx, or similar simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical hardware requirements.
• Provide design and engineering support for CNS sustainment products.
• Manage component obsolescence identification and mitigation.
• Analyze circuit performance with simulation tools (LT Spice/HyperLynx).
• Design, debug, and test digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Develop schematics, oversee PCB layouts, and support drawings.
• Support build, debug, and test of designs.
• Conduct electrical tests using standard lab equipment.
• Develop verification test plans ensuring requirements are met.
• Collaborate with mechanical, industrial, and manufacturing teams.
• Support product certification activities.
