Job summary

RTX's Collins Aerospace in Melbourne, FL seeks an early career Electrical Design Engineer to support CNS traffic surveillance hardware. You will influence architecture, performance, and reliability of CNS products, collaborating across multi-disciplinary teams in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with <2 years of experience and hands-on experience with LT Spice/HyperLynx, lab equipment, and schematic capture. This onsite role offers strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Must be a U.S. Person per contract.
• Experience with LT Spice, HyperLynx, or similar tools.
• Experience with common lab test equipment (oscilloscopes, generators, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Develop and analyze electrical hardware requirements for CNS products.
• Provide design support for CNS sustainment and new development.
• Manage component obsolescence identification and mitigation.
• Analyze circuit performance using simulation tools (LT Spice, HyperLynx).
• Design, debug, and test digital and mixed-signal circuits.
• Create schematics, oversee PCB layouts, and develop test procedures.
• Build, debug, and test electrical circuits and verify test results.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Industrial, and Manufacturing teams.
