Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an onsite Assembler to perform mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, tests and inspections for aerospace products. You will read blueprints, use hand and measuring tools, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires a HS diploma or equivalent and may require IPC Class III soldering certification. Onsite, 1st shift, with comprehensive benefits and opportunities in a global aerospace leader.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or technical/vocational training.
• IPC Class III solder certification preferred.
• Experience in aerospace or electronic assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings to support assembly.
• Operates hand tools, electrical tools, measuring devices and light machinery.
• Maintains workstation inventory to ensure smooth production flow.
• Performs quality checks and records issues accurately.
• Reworks and repairs assemblies per engineering changes.
• Follows safety and quality standards in a clean, safe environment.
• Shift: 1st shift, Monday–Friday, 5:30 am–2:00 pm.
