Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a skilled manufacturing worker for a 2nd shift onsite role in Texas. You will read blueprints, operate hand and electrical tools, measure components, and maintain workstations while ensuring quality and safety standards.

With 1+ year in manufacturing and a HS diploma or GED, you will contribute to reworking and repairing equipment per engineering specs and stay aligned with established procedures and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
• 1 or more years of experience within a Manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Reads, interprets, and follows blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions.
• Operates hand tools, electrical tools, hand cutters, measuring equipment and light equipment.
• Maintains inventory of product in workstations.
• Performs quality work checks, identifies product defects and records identified defects.
• Reworks and/or repairs assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
• Performs all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
