Job summary

Volt is hiring a Dimensional Inspector & Planner/Quality Inspector (Aerospace Manufacturing) for the 2nd shift in Valencia, CA. You will inspect landing gear and hydraulic components, read blueprints, and use precision tools to ensure dimensional accuracy.

Experience with Fanuc CNC programming and FAA documentation is preferred. This contract-to-hire role includes benefits such as health, dental, vision, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace manufacturing inspection.
• Strong blueprint reading and measurement skills.
• Fanuc CNC programming experience required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft landing gear and hydraulic components for wear, corrosion, and dimensional accuracy.
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, CMMs, and technical specifications.
• Use precision measuring tools including micrometers, bore gages, indicators, and height gages.
• Develop repair plans and maintain FAA-compliant documentation.
• Provide technical support to machinists and technicians.
