Job summary

Skills Inc. is seeking a Dimensional Inspector to join our team in Auburn, WA on a first shift (7am-3:30pm).

The role focuses on dimensional inspection of machined parts for aerospace and commercial customers, ensuring compliance with drawings and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will perform first part and in-process inspections, develop knowledge of the quality system, and possess familiarity with aerospace specifications and measurement equipment.

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of aerospace drawings and inspection standards.
• Familiarity with aerospace requirements for assemblies and components.
• Use of aerospace dimensional inspection and measuring equipment.
• Strong mathematical and analytical abilities.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Assure machined/assembled/formed parts meet the drawing, document, and customer requirements.
• Dimensional inspection of assemblies and components, including aircraft hardware standards.
• Perform first part and in-process inspections at the shop floor level.
• Develop a working knowledge of Skills' Quality system and related procedures.
• Recognize and handle non-conforming materials and procedures.
