Job summary

Jobot is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector for our aerospace/defense manufacturing client in California. You will inspect components to engineering drawings and customer specs, generate FAIRs, and ensure AS9100/AS9102 compliance. You will document results in ERP/MRP systems and collaborate cross-functionally to drive quality.

Ideal candidates have strong GD&T, blueprint reading, and CMM programming experience, with a focus on accuracy and traceability in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.
• Aerospace/defense quality standards familiarity is a plus.
• Ability to perform arithmetic, geometric and algebraic calculations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components to drawings and specs.
• Prepare inspection records and FAIRs per AS9102.
• Coordinate corrective actions with teams and suppliers.
• Maintain quality documentation in ERP/MRP systems.
• Support internal quality audits and continuous improvement.
