RTX in Middletown, CT is seeking candidates for the Engineering Development Program (EDP) within the Development Operations and PSCV organizations. This two-year rotation moves you through three functions across DO and PSCV, granting breadth in jet engine development and testing.

At the program's end, you will return to the Assembly Process Engineering team for permanent placement, with opportunities to grow in engine hardware, assembly methods, and manufacturing processes while contributing to

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or STEM Major obtained by start date.
• The ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA

Responsibilities

• Create and approve jet engine assembly procedures per engineering requirements and Engine Development Plans
• Support the Assembly Floor through ownership of assembly instructions and troubleshooting of issues in coordination with Operations and Engineering disciplines
• Develop, implement, and validate robust new processes to ensure production readiness
• Grow technical proficiency in areas including engine hardware, assembly methods, and assembly equipment
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve safety and efficiency in assembly activities
