Job summary

RTX in Middletown, CT, offers an Engineering Development Program (EDP) in Development Operations and PSCV. This two-year rotation moves you through three functions before permanent placement in Assembly Process Engineering, building breadth and insight into jet engine development and testing.

The role requires a Bachelor's or higher in engineering, ability to obtain security clearance, and willingness to travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical, Aerospace, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or STEM by start date.
Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government Security Clearance.
Travel up to 10% of the time.
Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
Prior Co-op/internship experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Create and approve jet engine assembly procedures per engineering requirements and Engine Development Plans.
Support the Assembly Floor through ownership of assembly instructions and troubleshooting with Operations and Engineering.
Develop, implement, and validate robust new processes to ensure production readiness.
Grow technical proficiency in engine hardware, assembly methods, and equipment.
Participate in continuous improvement to enhance safety and efficiency in assembly activities.
