Job summary

Xometry in Lexington, KY is seeking an Associate Solutions Engineer for Aerospace & Defense to join the Solutions Engineering team. You will support quoting, data management, supplier coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver manufacturing solutions.

Ideal candidates have a technical degree and 3–5 years engineering experience, with CAD (SolidWorks) and GD&T proficiency, plus strong data-management skills. This role offers hybrid work in Lexington.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required.
• 3–5 years in engineering/manufacturing roles.
• Experience with CAD and GD&T (SolidWorks preferred).
• Proficient in data management and documentation (BOMs, RFQs, specs).

Responsibilities

• Support quoting, data organization, and technical documentation for complex customer programs (BOMs, RFQs, specs).
• Assist internal cost-modeling and quoting-tool development to improve efficiency.
• Coordinate with suppliers and track quality documents through the solution lifecycle.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align engineering, sales and operations.
• Lead capstone project to improve process efficiency (automation, dashboards, or docs).
• Develop and demonstrate DFx best practices across manufacturing disciplines.
