The primary mission in this role is to serve as a Solution Consultant and Teamcenter Subject Matter Expert, delivering high-quality, value-driven solutions, presentations, and messaging of the Xcelerator capabilities to support the prescriptive process of the buyer’s journey.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to gather business and technical requirements, determine business needs, and architect appropriate solutions within the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
- Utilize advanced knowledge of customer business needs, engineering and manufacturing processes, industry best practices, and competitive differentiation to lead pursuit teams that prepare and deliver compelling customer experiences in support of selling efforts.
- Maintain excellent knowledge of customer and industry configuration management processes and strategies.
- Establish and build trusted advisor relationships with clients and sales executives, serving as a credible business and technical consultant.
- Guide clients in selecting appropriate solutions and technology suites.
- Lead the development and delivery of presentations, demonstrations, proofs of concept, proposals, and business and technology status reviews (e.g., Technical Review Boards, Management Review Boards).
- Develop meaningful collateral for RFI, RFP, RFQ, demonstrations, and proof of concept exercises.
- Support account orchestrators and pre-sales resources in defining and executing sales opportunities.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Excellent verbal presentation and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills to positively influence teams with a common understanding of successful account management principles.
- 5+ years of experience using PLM tools (Teamcenter preferred).
- 5+ years of experience in BOM Management, Change Management, and Workflow.
- 7+ years of experience in the PLM space, including managing proofs of concepts, defining requirements, and deploying PLM solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or computer science or related field.
- Proven ability to present technology solutions effectively, incorporating sales techniques.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Experience leading teams of technical and business consultants.
- Ability to work remotely (virtual office).
- Willingness to travel 30-50%, primarily domestically.
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
- Experience as a Pre-Sales Consultant or in sales within the Digital Enterprise space.
- Success in engineering or manufacturing engineering roles.
- Engagement with executive-level stakeholders.
