Job summary

Raytheon in Tucson, AZ, is seeking a Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering Intern to support design, analysis, and production activities within the Air Launched Effectors department.

You will work on 3D parametric modeling, GD&T, Creo drafting, and Windchill data management under supervision, contributing to data packages and technical reviews while gaining hands-on experience in aerospace engineering on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or related (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
• Must have a minimum of 60 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects

Responsibilities

• Support concept development, detailed design, analysis, integration and test.
• Assist with transition to production efforts, factory production line support and product improvement.
• Perform root cause / corrective action and problem resolution at on-site labs and factories or at various suppliers.
• Collaborate with Integrated Product Team Leads/Program Managers to ensure requirements are defined, risks are managed, and schedules/budgets are met.
