Job summary

EnerSys Precision Power Solutions (PPS) in Florida is seeking a Business Development Manager focused on Aerospace & Defense and government programs. You will guide strategic planning, pricing, and customer relationships with DoD primes, driving growth for thermal and liquid reserve battery programs.

You will collaborate with program management, finance, legal, and engineering to support sales, program costing, and contract negotiations, reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree with at least 5 years of sales and/or government contracting experience.
• Advanced degree preferrable (MBA, finance, etc).
• Understanding of FAR 15 and 52.
• Understanding of ITAR and export control compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales for liquid reserve, thermals, and development programs to support the Munitions business.
• Develop and establish relationships with the U.S. Government and key DoD Prime contractors (i.e. Raytheon, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, etc).
• Coordinate connections between key customers, management, and the EnerSys executive team.
• Create and maintain a 5-year strategic plan and business roadmap.
• Manage the overall sales, costing, pricing, and negotiation process.
• Work with program management to establish consistent customer messaging related to all compliance related communications.
