Job summary

EnerSys, owner of Precision Power Solutions, seeks a Product Development Engineering Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team focused on building advanced electrochemical products for defense applications. You will set priorities, manage complex programs, and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure qualification and successful program outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum of five years of engineering leadership or product development experience.
• Strong technical knowledge, leadership and business judgment.
• Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team to deliver technical excellence and meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and manufacturing engineering to improve design for manufacturability.
• Develop project plans, allocate resources, and ensure successful execution of new product development programs.
• Ensure compliance with defense standards and internal policies; foster quality and accountability.
• Drive financial performance through effective planning and resource management.
• Prepare technical proposals for strategic opportunities and funding initiatives.
