Job summary

Delta Electronics is seeking a Customer Service Representative to manage inquiries, orders, and support requests for commercial and military/aerospace clients. You will coordinate with engineering, production, and logistics to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate documentation in a regulated environment.

The role requires 2+ years in customer service, familiarity with ERP systems, and strong communication skills. ITAR knowledge and U.S. citizenship are a plus; a related degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing or defense/aerospace sectors.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
• Knowledge of military/aerospace industry standards and terminology (ITAR, EAR, DFARS, AS9100, ISO 9001, MIL-STDs) is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship required due to ITAR regulations.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial or military and aerospace clients, managing inquiries, orders, and support requests
• Proficiency in handling RFQs, RFPs, and contract review processes for defense/aerospace clients
• Process customer orders, quotes, and returns with accuracy and efficiency using ERP systems
• Coordinate with internal departments (engineering, production, logistics) to ensure timely fulfillment of customer requirements
• Monitor order status and proactively communicate updates, delays, or changes to customers
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, transactions, and feedback
• Assist in resolving issues related to product quality, delivery, or documentation
• Support sales team with customer data, reporting, and follow-up activities
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and operational efficiency
