Job summary

AXILLON AEROSPACE is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform diverse fabrication tasks for aerospace composite materials. You will work with layup, curing, bonding, and finishing processes under the supervision of leads and engineers.

The role requires 3-5 years in manufacturing or composite fabrication (aerospace preferred), high attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Overtime may be required in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing, assembly, layup or composite fabrication; aerospace experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel; Outlookメール.com preferred

Responsibilities

• Layup and cure composite parts using prepreg fabric, uni-tape, SMC, BMC and dry materials.
• Assemble, demold, bond components and perform finishing (filling, sanding, grinding, cleaning).
• Use hand and power tools and measurement devices for production operations.
• Follow instructions, travelers and procedures for manufactured hardware.
• Maintain records and material traceability on travelers; ensure quality requirements are met.
• Identify expired material and document non-conformances as needed.
• Collaborate with leads and engineers to address root causes of issues.
• Maintain tools, molds, machines and work areas; ensure cleanliness and order.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
