Job summary

Axillon Aerospace, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to perform diverse composite fabrication tasks, including layup, curing, bonding, and finishing. You will work with prepregs, uni‑tape, SMC/BMC and dry materials, following precise instructions and maintaining production records.

The role requires 3–5 years in manufacturing or composite fabrication, strong manual skills, and the ability to work overtime when needed. A 9/80 schedule applies, with compensation based on experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly, layup or composite fabrication; aerospace experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Layup and cure composite parts using prepreg, uni‑tape, SMC, BMC and dry materials.
• Assemble, demold, bond components; finish by filling, sanding, grinding and cleaning.
• Use hand and power tools to perform production operations; follow work instructions and travelers.
• Log production records and material traceability; ensure material shelf‑life and out‑time compliance.
• Identify root causes with team to implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Maintain tools, molds, machines and cleanliness of production areas.
• Support flow of parts between operations and locations; assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
