Job summary

AXILLON AEROSPACE in California seeks a Manufacturing Technician to perform layup, molding and related processes for aerospace composites. The role emphasizes precision, safety, and adherence to production schedules across multiple duties per shift.

Responsibilities include assembling, curing, traceability, and documentation, with a 9/80 schedule and a pay range of $23.00–$28.00 per hour, depending on experience and certification.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing, assembly or composite fabrication experience; aerospace experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds and operate production tools with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Layup and cure composite parts using prepreg fabric, uni-tape, SMC, BMC and dry materials.
• Assemble, demold, bond components, and perform finishing by filling, sanding and cleaning.
• Use hand and power tools and measurement devices to perform production operations.
• Maintain records and ensure material traceability on travelers.
• Ensure materials are within shelf-life and address non-conformances.
