Job summary

REIOS Recruitment seeks a sales professional to take over an aerospace and defense composite tooling account base and win new programs with primes and aerostructures shops. You will sell layup mandrels, bond tools, and trim and drill fixtures into prepreg and carbon fiber part production.

You will run RFQs and proposals with engineering from enquiry through to award, and aim to influence tool concepts early in programs rather than quoting fixed prints.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years minimum selling into composites (parts, tooling or prepreg/carbon fiber)
• Aerospace and defense end markets, working with primes, tier ones and MRO
• Understanding of how composite parts are built, cured and tooled (autoclave or out of autoclave)
• Track record selling engineered, quoted work
• Willing to travel 25–30%
• US person status for ITAR/export controlled work

Responsibilities

• Take over an existing aerospace and defense composite tooling account base
• Win new programs with primes, tier ones and aerostructures shops
• Sell layup mandrels, bond tools and trim and drill fixtures into prepreg and carbon fiber part production
• Run RFQs and proposals with engineering, from enquiry through to award
• Get in early enough on a program to influence the tool concept rather than quoting to a fixed print
• Travel 25 to 30% for customer visits and trade shows
• Build new pipeline alongside the inherited accounts
