Job summary

Dayton-Granger, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL, is hiring a Composite Assembler. This hands-on role fabricates, assembles, repairs, and finishes aerospace composite components using fiberglass, epoxy, resin, and foam. You will drill, rivet, and fit parts per blueprints and work instructions in a precision manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has composite or fiberglass experience, can use hand and pneumatic tools, and demonstrates strong attention to detail in a high-quality environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in manufacturing or composites/fiberglass.
• Experience with drilling and riveting, including rivet guns and rivet tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical instructions.
• Proficiency with hand and pneumatic tools.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Lift up to 25 lbs.
• Stand for extended periods and use PPE (respirators, gloves, goggles).
• Good verbal and written communication in English.
• Reliable attendance with ability to work independently or in a team.
• U.S. person status under ITAR requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform composite part repairs, surface prep, and bonded assemblies.
• Drill, rivet, and fit composite and metal components using hand and power tools.
• Work with epoxy, resin, foam, fiberglass, and other aerospace materials.
• Follow instructions and blueprints to ensure parts meet quality standards.
• Fit parts into molds, fixtures, or assemblies and apply bonding techniques.
• Deflash, sand, and finish components to tight tolerances.
• Track material usage and maintain basic production records.
• Follow all safety protocols and keep a clean work area.
• Assist with general shop tasks and support production as needed.
• Follow DG safety procedures and company policies.
