Job summary

DAYTON-GRANGER, INC. is hiring a Manufacturing Assembler for on-site work in Fort Lauderdale, FL, performing soldering and detailed cosmetic touch-up of small electrical and mechanical parts. The role requires precision, steady hand‑eye coordination, and adherence to quality standards.

The position is full-time, 1st shift, 40 hours per week, with hours 6am-2:30pm, Monday to Friday. Prior assembly and soldering experience is preferred, and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year in manufacturing/production environment.
• 1+ year assembling small parts in manufacturing (electronics/mechanical) preferred.
• 1+ year soldering experience.
• Experience with adhesives, epoxies, or bonding materials.

Responsibilities

• Assemble small electrical and mechanical components using hand tools and work instructions.
• Perform detail paint touch-up to correct cosmetic defects and ensure visual quality.
• Prepare parts for final inspection by removing masking materials.
• Visually inspect surface quality, color consistency and workmanship.
• Perform light soldering on small components.
• Read and follow blueprints and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety procedures.
• Assist with any additional duties as assigned by management.
