Job summary

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing or composites, with basic knowledge of composite materials and the ability to read blueprints and use hand and pneumatic tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year in manufacturing, composites, or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of composite materials (fiberglass, carbon fiber, resins) and bonding.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and written work instructions.
• Comfortable using hand and pneumatic tools.
• Strong hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and wear PPE.
• Clear communication skills in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Perform composite layup and cut materials per work instructions.
• Maintain, label, and prepare materials for production log tickets.
• Assemble simple and complex Dayton Granger parts.
• Deflash, sand, and trim smaller composite parts as needed.
• Prep, load, and unload molds from ovens, presses, and autoclaves.
• Maintain tools, molds, fixtures, and equipment in the assembly area.
• Follow all workmanship and quality standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Adhere to DG safety procedures and policies.
