Job summary

Precision Aviation Group, through its AWT unit in Uxbridge, MA, seeks motivated candidates for a coating technician role. The job involves cleaning, blasting, masking and applying environmentally friendly coatings to turbine engine components; auto body or mechanical experience is a plus.

Must read and follow instructions, be reliable, and pass FAA/DOT pre-employment drug tests and background screening. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:30 PM, with competitive pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be highly motivated and organized, with strong communication skills.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.
• Full-time availability, Mon-Fri, 7–4:30.
• Must pass FAA/DOT pre-employment drug test and background screen; random testing.

Responsibilities

• Prepping components for coating.
• Follow pre-established guidelines and instructions to perform job functions.
• Use OEM and Proprietary design prints to ensure proper outcome.
• Fabricate, modify fixtures and maintain department equipment.
• Measure and examine completed components using manual and electronic devices to ensure conformance.
