Qualifications

• 0-1 years of related experience or a completed degree/certificate from a post-secondary or vocational school in a related field with 0-1+years related experience.
• High School or GED

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-coating operations from verbal, written or computer-generated instructions, including surface preparation and masking duties.
• Perform post coating tasks such as removing parts from fixtures and masking, troubleshooting, and diagnosing malfunctioning equipment.
• Make minor repairs on coating equipment and perform deburring, blending, polishing, and grinding operations on aerospace engine components.
• Check parts to meet visual and dimensional requirements using micrometers, verniers, height gauges and other fixed gauges.
• Assist engineers in developing new or changed operations and provide recommendations for improving operating parameters.
• Maintain flexibility around shifts and overtime to support training and workflow.
