Job summary

Chromalloy Corporation is seeking a Chemical Process Operator to perform thermal coating processes used to apply pack aluminide coatings to gas turbine engine components. You will work as part of a team to support the manufacture and repair of aerospace components through coating application, surface preparation, inspection, and documentation while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to clearly communicate in English, including reading and writing work instructions.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Strong shop math skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform pack aluminide coating processes, including A12 retort packing and A12 furnace loading.
• Apply spray coatings and perform abrasive blasting per instructions and specifications.
• Monitor coating application and ensure quality requirements are met.
• Perform additional processing tasks such as assembly, disassembly, tumbling, peening, masking, and surface prep as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery.
• Inspect and certify your own work using measuring and inspection tools.
• Complete required quality documentation and production records.
• Follow all safety rules, PPE requirements, and quality standards.
