Job summary

Chromalloy in Georgia is seeking an Operator to perform processes for thermally applied pack aluminide coatings on gas turbine engine components. You will work as part of a team to meet production and quality specifications.

The role requires reading work instructions, following blueprints, and performing tasks such as packing, loading, spray coating, blasting, and quality inspection while maintaining safety and 5S/CPEX standards.

Qualifications

• Must have HS Diploma or GED.
• Strong shop mathematics including basic operations and fractions.
• 3-5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and read work instructions.
• Team oriented and able to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform A12 retort packing, A12 furnace load, spray coating application, abrasive blasting, monitor coating application and coating adherence per work instructions and customer specifications.
• May perform assembly, disassembly, vibratory tumble, blending, peening, grit blast and masking/prep per work instructions and customer specifications.
• Maintain plant safety rules and uphold highest quality standards in all tasks.
