Job summary

Chromalloy in Carson City, NV seeks a Chemical Process Operator to perform pack aluminide coating processes, surface preparation, and inspection of gas turbine components. You will work as part of a team to ensure quality, safety, and documentation.

Shift is Tue–Sun 3:00 PM–11:30 PM with $1–$3/hour shift differential and a $500 sign-on bonus. You’ll handle coating application, maintenance, and adherence to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to operate coating and processing equipment safely.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform pack aluminide coating processes and furnace loading.
• Apply spray coatings and abrasive blasting per specs.
• Monitor coating adherence to quality standards.
• Maintain and document production records and 5S/CI efforts.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Inspect own work using measurement tools and certify results.
• Follow safety rules and PPE requirements.
