Job summary

Attco Aerospace is seeking an experienced CNC Turning Setup Machinist to prepare and run aerospace-grade lathes, ensuring tight tolerances and pristine finishes. You will interpret complex blueprints, set tooling, offsets, and verify programs before cutting, while maintaining AS9100 quality standards.

You will also perform first article and in-process inspections, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in a high-precision, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years CNC lathe setup in aerospace or high-precision environments.
• Fluency in blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Ability to edit G-code and work with Mazatrol or Fanuc controls.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the machine: install tooling and fixtures, set work offsets, verify programs before first cut.
• Run production on CNC lathes to meet aerospace tolerances and finishes.
• Interpret drawings and process sheets with GD&T; perform first article, in-process, and final inspections.
