Job summary

A.S. Aerospace Inc. is seeking a skilled CNC Mill/Lathe Programmer & Setup Technician to program, set up, and optimize CNC milling and turning operations for aerospace fasteners and tooling.

The role requires experience in high-precision manufacturing and the ability to read blueprints and specifications. The ideal candidate will develop processes, select tooling, and improve productivity while complying with AS aerospace quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting up and optimizing CNC mills and lathes in high-precision aerospace manufacturing.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specs and work instructions.
• Develop machining processes, tooling strategies, and setup sheets.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate CNC mills and lathes to manufacture aerospace fasteners and tooling.
• Troubleshoot machining, tooling, programming, and quality issues to minimize downtime.
• Support First Article Inspection and production validation per customer requirements.
