Job summary

M&S Machine & Tool Co., Inc. seeks an experienced machinist for a small aerospace job shop. The ideal candidate will set up CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, install work holdings, and ensure parts meet exact specifications.

Milling and programming experience is a plus, and AS9100 experience is preferred but not mandatory. Responsibilities include tool setup, measurement with micrometers and gauges, and interpreting blueprints.

Qualifications

• 5+ years set-up experience in job shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and touch off tools, input offsets and ensure proper work holding (jaws/collets).
• Operate machines and perform various manufacturing tasks as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions, maintaining tolerances.
